Documenting the San Antonio Landscape Through Film and Photography
San Antonio has always been more than just a backdrop in my work—it’s a living landscape filled with stories, memory, and layers of history. From neighborhoods shaped by generations of families to the natural spaces that continue to evolve alongside the city, I’m drawn to places where community, culture, and environment intersect.
Through both filmmaking and photography, I try to capture moments that reveal something deeper about the people and places that define this region. Film allows me to follow stories as they unfold over time, while photography gives me the chance to preserve a single moment—an expression, a landscape, a quiet detail—that might otherwise pass unnoticed.
Projects like Rooted In Legacy: The Arboretum Journey reflect that ongoing exploration, documenting how land, stewardship, and community shape the identity of a city. Whether working in motion or in still images, my goal remains the same: to create visual stories that honor the places and people that make San Antonio unique.
