SILENCIO

Silencio is an eerie psychological drama that explores the dismantling of one man’s seemingly happy family.

Meet Franco Dañado, a middle aged college professor who has only seen his family as an “All American” happy loving family. Only to finally be confronted by the truth of his hateful & sadistic wife and children.

Silencio is the first film in a series of five unrelated films written by filmmaker Robb S. García from a series of vivid, unsettling dreams he had over the course of six months shortly before being diagnosed with a Meningioma brain tumor.

TJ Gonzales

Franco Dañado

TJ is an award winning performer, writer and director. On stage he appeared in productions at Hyde Park Theater, Live Oak Theater and the State. He was nominated for an Austin Circle of Theaters award for his portrayal of the title character in DA, directed by Melba Martinez. He was also originated the character of  Guero in Cocks Have Claws and Wings to Fly by Amparo Garcia. He was a cast member of Esther’s Follies and was named Best of the Fest at Fronterafest for his one-man show Under South Texas Skies, that was later adapted for the screen starring Freddie Fender. TJ is a 2006 Latino Writer’s Lab fellow and a founding member.

Valeriana Mar

Kristal Dañado

Valeriana is a native San Antonio model and actresswith over 15 years working in the local industry. Miss Mar also spent 3 years working in the Los Angeles market where she appeared in television and fi lm productions. She also worked as a makeup artist for various productions. Having worked on several projects produced by 3807 Productions she was thrilled to tackle the complex character of Kristal Dañado in Silencio.

Alex Rose

Teenag Sara Dañado

Alex is a native of San Antonio who is currently a full time student and model. Alex loves creating all types of art. Her passion for drawing, painting and crafts allows her to express herself and clear her mind. Her first acting role as the teenage Sara Dañado in the short film ‘Silencio’ allowed her yet another outlet to show her creative, talented side. “I believe art is what I am good at and where my heart is really at. It is my passion.” Alex Rose.

Christian Rojas

Teenage Jaime Dañado

Christian’s interest in acting began early, he performed in school plays. In middle school he took theater arts and original improv creating and performing his original works. In high school he began a modeling, creating music and horror videos for his social media channels. In college continued being active in theater. Christian is currently a certified personal trainer and the front man for the local metal band Circadia.

Liliana Sanchez

Young Sara Dañado

Liliana is a native of San Antonio TX. She loves cats and is active in soccer and studies Piano. Her interest in art has always been part of herself. As she started by painting her walls. Her interest in acting started when she attended a theater camp at the Magic Theatre. She also attended Performing arts San Antonio and performed in two plays. Liliana is currently participating in her middle school’s theater program.

Martin Piñeiro

Young Jaime Dañado

Martin’s aspiration to be an actor comes from him watching his favorite actors and acting out scenes in front of the mirror. He’s mother took notice and reached out to some of her friends in the industry to help mentor and stir his acting. Martin is very interested in Japanese Cinema and quotes his favorite actor Ken Watanabe, “Love is not what shows who you are, it defines you.” “I will always love acting, and one day I will be the greatest actor known to man kind.” Martin Piñeiro
